AI Visibility

Draft — pending legal review. This text describes how the service operates today and will be finalised before it is relied on as a contract.

Terms of Service

Effective 3 September 2026

These terms govern your use of AI Visibility (the Service), operated by Appomate Pty Ltd (Appomate, we). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent.

1. The Service

AI Visibility measures how AI assistants and crawlers see a website you control: which AI crawlers fetch it, whether AI engines cite it when asked relevant questions, how complete its pages are against your knowledge base, and what to publish next. Each self-serve plan covers one website. Monitoring more than one site is available under an Enterprise agreement.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including that of team members you invite. Account owners may add or remove members up to the seat limit of their plan.

3. Plans, trials and billing

  • New accounts start a 14-day free trial with Starter-level limits. No card is required. Monitoring stops at the end of the trial unless you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars excluding tax; Australian customers are charged in Australian dollars with GST added at checkout.
  • You may change or cancel your plan at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires.
  • If a payment fails we will notify you and keep the Service running for a 7-day grace period, after which monitoring pauses until payment is made.
  • Plan limits (prompts, competitors, history, check cadence, seats) are enforced by the Service and described on the plan picker.

4. Acceptable use

  • Only register websites you own or are authorised to monitor.
  • Do not use the ingest collectors to send us data from sites you do not control, or to send personal information about your visitors — the collectors are designed to report AI crawler activity and traffic counts only.
  • Do not attempt to access other customers' data, probe the Service's infrastructure, or resell the Service without our written consent.

5. Your data

You own the data you provide (your site details, prompts, competitors, knowledge base, connected Google properties) and the reports the Service generates for you. You grant us the rights needed to operate the Service on it. We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy; the Data Processing Addendum applies to customers who require one.

6. AI-generated content

Citation verdicts, gap scores and content briefs are produced with third-party AI models and are estimates. They can be wrong. Review them before acting, and do not publish AI-drafted claims about your business without checking them.

7. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it on self-serve plans; scheduled checks may be delayed or skipped during maintenance or third-party outages. Support is by email (Starter), priority email (Growth) and a shared channel (Scale). Service levels are available under Enterprise agreements only.

8. Termination and deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings; this permanently removes your data within 30 days, revokes connected Google access and cancels any subscription. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Questions: hello@appomate.com.au.
